We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the close-knit accounting team of a highly respected and successful West Omaha business. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices from subcontractors and vendors as well as manufacturer rebates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconciling credit card accounts by comparing transactions to statements, verifying that expenses are coded correctly and properly authorized.
- Executing financial transactions in the company's accounting software, ensuring all activities are properly recorded in the general ledger.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and payment records through effective communication with vendors and internal teams.
