Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.

We are inviting you to apply for our Beverage Manager position. In this position, you will work to achieve day-to-day beverage sales volume and operating profit objectives in the Waterpark and throughout the resort. The main function of this role is to facilitate selling and up-sales, train, assist and schedule staff, while improving guest satisfaction.

With this position, we do require a background of (a):

• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine dining is necessary in-service skills and preparation of food and beverage in many venues.
• Experience in building craft cocktails and operating drink machines.
• A valid driver’s license/state issued I.D. is required and you must be at least 21 years of age.
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/ safety class and state-certified proper food handling certification.
• Experience running multiple outlets and revenue centers. Volume experience of $9 MM yearly sales.
• Ability to lead a team of 50-60 associates.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in relation to analyzing sales data, are helpful.
• Word and Excel knowledge is required.
