Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing and developing cloud-native applications and microservices, deploying applications using containers and Kubernetes, and collaborating with the team on technical solutions and code reviews.

Rate Range: $54/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing functional features, systems, and APIs in collaboration with other developers.

• Challenging the status quo by finding better ways to solve technical problems and design solutions.

• Identifying technical solutions that provide business value while minimizing technical debt.

• Participating in RD and proof of concept (POC) for key features before active development.

• Creating working examples to enable the development organization.

• Collaborating with Wealth Lead Architecture Groups to ensure alignment.

• Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and solving problems collaboratively.

• Integrating existing software systems with relevant data sources.

• Writing unit and integration tests and developing automation tools for daily tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8 to 11 years of development experience in Java, Spring Boot, React JS, and JavaScript.

• Strong experience in designing and building cloud-native applications and microservices, preferably using Azure.

• Expertise in deploying and hosting applications using containers and Kubernetes.

Pay Details: $54.00 to $56.00 per hour
