SCOTLAND COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL Health Information Technology Director in Memphis, Missouri Healthcare Information Technology Director Full-Time Monday-Friday 7:30-4 Starting Wage $37.00 (increased with experience) Job Summary The Information Technology Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of clinical and administrative systems, implementing new technologies, maintaining data security, and aligning IT strategies with the organization's overall healthcare goals. The IT Director will also hold the title of Information Security Officer which encompasses the HIPAA Security Officer role as well. Under the general direction of the COO, this position administers all duties related to information technology, including but not limited to networking, computer repair, PandP, HIPAA Security, database programming, and electronics in patient care areas such as call lights, TV, and phone systems. The IT Director will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, including system upgrades, new technology implementations, and infrastructure improvements.
