Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Sarasota, FL. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the plant. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, 1 year + industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to work independently.

Pay Range: Based on experience

What's the Job?

• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on plant equipment as per SOPs, identify and correct mechanical/electrical defects before machines fail
• Maintain operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels and reduce production downtime
• Work on repairs and new projects related to building, utilities, HVAC or manufacturing
• Purchase parts required for repairs/projects
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in safety program
• Follow GMP guidelines, site-specific Quality System

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• HVAC Maintenance
• PVC and Copper Pipefitting
• Pump and motor maintenance: seal, bearing and coupling replacements
• General Building Maintenance
• Assist facilities team and cross-train as needed
• Maintaining an organized work environment
• Good teamwork
