Production Coordinator | Part Time | Norwood, OH

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the critical link between our customers and the production team, ensuring smooth scheduling, timely communication, and efficient logistics management.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding production timelines and delivery schedules.
  • Provide proactive updates on order progress, potential delays, and revised timelines.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to production and delivery with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain the production deadlines, and work with shop foreman to ensure all orders are accurately tracked from start to finish.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure realistic scheduling based on production capacity and material availability.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules with freight vendors, ensuring cost-effective and timely deliveries.
  • Communicate shipping details to customers, providing tracking information and delivery expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any shipping or delivery issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of production timelines, customer orders, and shipment details using Excel and other scheduling tools.
  • Generate reports and updates for internal stakeholders regarding production flow and order status.
  • Ensure all documentation related to scheduling, logistics, and customer communication is well-organized and up to date.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years in a production coordination or customer service role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing schedules and production constraints.
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is helpful.
  • Familiarity with freight and logistics coordination is a plus.

Schedule:

15-20 hours per week

Pay:

$21/hr paid weekly
