Job Title:
Project Manager – EPC Department

Location: Remote/Hybrid located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to join our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) department. This role will oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial solar projects, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both project management and electrical engineering, with the ability to manage projects remotely while being willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of solar PV projects, from initial planning and design to construction and final delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and field crews, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Lead project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Oversee site assessments and ensure all projects comply with electrical and safety standards.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to provide updates and address issues in real time.
  • Ensure proper documentation, permits, and compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Travel to project sites for on-site supervision, inspections, and client meetings as required (up to 50% travel).
  • Resolve any technical or operational issues that may arise during project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on energy, preferably solar.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and PV system design.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale commercial solar projects, including rooftop and ground-mount PV systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working remotely with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time to various project sites across the U.S.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

A reasonable estimate of the current annual salary range is $90,000-110,000 including annual bonus
