As a Security Manager Sr within PNC's Technology Risk & Resiliency organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

This role will report to our Technology Risk Senior Group Manager and will be the first line of defense for Information security and fraud risk, driving policy, governance and assessments focusing on:

- The coordination and execution of risk identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring and reporting.
- Execution of Security maturity assessments including the quantification of risks.
- Validation and reporting of compliance with industry standards such as NIST, HIPAA, PCI
- Execution and oversight of issues management in coordination with the Security organization.
- Coordination and oversight of the audit and regulatory exams.
- Management of the integrity of security policies and procedures as well as the alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Oversight of the enforcement of security policies and reporting of exceptions.
- Monitors the regulatory environment's impact on security programs and initiatives, including the examination of overall security posture and program effectiveness.

  • Responsible for management and oversight of applicable security technology products for network, systems and data.
  • Develops, implements and enhances policies and procedures to improve the operation and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Provides technical and professional advice or knowledge regarding various administrative areas of responsibility.
  • Oversees and manages administrative staff. Provides professional and personal growth and development to individuals as appropriate.

Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
