The Spirit of the Position: The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the creation of high-quality visual assets that align with LAZ’s brand identity and strategic goals. This role involves conceptualizing and executing designs for digital, print, and social media platforms, ensuring cohesive and compelling LAZ storytelling across all touchpoints. Work Location: Travel: 5-10% Principal Job Duties: Ensure all designs adhere to LAZ’s established brand guidelines and design systems to maintain consistency across internal, client-facing, and customer-facing materials. Regularly review and update brand standards as needed to reflect evolving business goals and design trends. Conceptualize and produce visually compelling designs for a variety of platforms, including digital, print, web, social media, and presentations. Create graphic/visual elements, such as icons, illustrations, infographics, and layouts, to enhance storytelling and audience engagement. Partner with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions aligned with business objectives. Review and proof all designs to ensure accuracy, alignment with brand standards, and high-quality output. Develop and maintain a library of reusable assets, templates, and design tools for efficient project execution. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design innovations, and new technologies (AI tools) to continuously improve creative strategies and outputs. Support regions with updating various flyers for marketing new and/or current locations. Support People + Culture team with updating various flyers for hiring/job fairs. Create new flyers/brochures/presentations/references as needed. Coordinate with Project Manager on Social Media graphics. Coordinate with sign vendors and assist regions with setting up new signage. Creative mindset to be able to bring a design to life with simple instructions. Strong design principles and values from experience while collaborating with partners and absorbing feedback. Create digital & print advertisements for various sponsorships. Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly. Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines. Additional duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Graphic Design or equivalent work experience desired. Experience: 3-5 years experience in graphic design. Previous experience working in high-stress situations with tight deadlines/high customer expectations. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and General Microsoft Office Applications. Ideal candidate can provide a portfolio of Advertising Design Work. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, layout, and branding, along with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Proficiency in design tools and a passion for creative innovation are essential. Skills: Very organized with strong project management skills to be able to track and meet various hard deadlines. Strong verbal and communication skills. Ability to work successfully in a team, independently, and comfortable in very fast-paced and growing environments. Ability to multi-task. Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving. Ability to encourage open expression of ideas and opinions. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness. Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10lbs.
