Job Description

The Social Media & Content Intern will get hands-on experience in the music and content creation space, assisting with the development and growth of a new freestyle performance platform. They will play a key role in content production, social media strategy, and artist promotion, contributing to the platform’s overall success.

This internship is an excellent learning opportunity for someone looking to break into the music, media, and entertainment industry within a fast-paced, creative, and forward-thinking environment. We encourage our interns to bring fresh ideas and think outside the box. This is an unpaid internship with flexible hours (minimum 15 hrs/week) and can be structured to meet college credit requirements.

Prior music industry experience is not required!

Responsibilities

• Assist in content creation, including filming, editing, and posting performance sessions, BTS footage, and promotional materials
• Help develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram and TikTok to drive engagement and growth
• Engage with followers, artists, and industry professionals to build an online community
• Assist with capturing and editing video content for short-form storytelling
• Research and stay up-to-date with trends in music, social media, and freestyle culture.
• Assist in coordinating artist sessions, scheduling shoots, and managing deliverables

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for music, content creation, and social media
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and think creatively
• Comfortable taking direction from leadership, implementing feedback, and executing tasks efficiently
• Experience running or growing a social media account (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Los Angeles-based preferred (ability to attend shoots in-person)
• Must have access to a computer and phone with social media capabilities
