Job Description

Wire EDM Machine Operators for medical device manufacturer located in the Lake Forest CA area. Great opportunity with a stable company.

This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity. Hours are 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm; and 2nd Shift, 3:15 pm - 11:45 pm, Monday - Friday plus 2 Saturdays a month. Saturday hours are 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Overtime is mandatory. Company will complete Drug Screen and Background Check prior to start. P ay is $17-23/hr depending on experience. Excellent benefits including 100% paid medical, dental and vision for employees and 401K with 4% matching after the first year.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Wire EDM Machine and any new equipment thereafter.
• Loading and unloading parts.
• Follow Machine Procedures.
• Read prints.
• Learn set-up, power setting, and off-sets.
• Measure parts to be machined.
• Use micrometers, calipers and comparators to check parts.

Requirements:

• Min 1 year CNC Machine experience.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be very detail oriented.
• Must have basic mathematics ability for adding/subtracting decimals and fractions; must be able to read prints and understand dimensional tolerances.
• Desire to learn new trade - company will provide training and guidance.
• Knowledge of computers is desired.
• Creativity, Initiative and the ability to work independently is a MUST
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Essential duties require frequent reaching above shoulder level and manual dexterity for handling small / large objects.
• Routinely moves parts/product weighing up to 25 lbs.
• In this position, employees are exposed to noise, dust and fumes, and working around moving machinery.
• Good attendance and a low scrap rate are very important to this company.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $23.00 Per Hour PrideStaff
