Position Overview:

We're on the hunt for a talented YouTube Video Editor that specializes in high-retention editing. In this role, you’ll create dynamic, engaging content with a strong focus on YouTube’s fast-paced, high-energy style. Your expertise in SFX, sound effects, and motion graphics will help drive the success of our digital content. This role is a contract role for 90 days, with potential for extension based on performance. You will collaborate with our creative team in Vancouver to develop video content that resonates with our audience and stands out in the competitive YouTube space.

Key Responsibilities:

• YouTube Video Editing: Edit video footage to create high-retention YouTube content that captivates viewers and increases engagement.
• Motion Graphics & SFX: Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, and sound effects into videos to enhance viewer experience.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts that align with our brand and engage our audience.
• Post-Production: Manage all aspects of post-production, including color correction, sound editing, and final delivery.
• Efficiency: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years as a videographer/video editor, with a strong portfolio featuring high-retention YouTube videos, SFX, and motion graphics . Experience with Sony equipment is a plus.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, with a focus on YouTube-style editing.
• Creative Skills: Strong storytelling ability through video, with experience in creating engaging, fast-paced content for YouTube.
• SFX & Sound Effects Expertise: Demonstrated ability to use sound effects to enhance videos and keep viewers engaged.
• Motion Graphics: Proficiency in integrating motion graphics into videos to elevate the visual experience.
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality content under tight deadlines.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with our Vancouver team.
• Availability: Immediate availability to start
