Job Description - Manage and distribute various financial reports including cash receipts, wire activity, and aged receivables.
- Collaborate with attorneys, management, and clients on escrow-related activities and the identification of unidentified payments.
- Supervise a team of five accounts receivable staff, conducting performance reviews, hiring, and training.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures to enhance department efficiency.
- Ensure timely research and resolution of discrepancies in cash receipts and client credits.
- Oversee audits to maintain the accuracy and quality of accounts receivable work.
- Provide training and support for other departments on accounting procedures.
- Participate in systems upgrades and test new accounting functions.
- Handle ad hoc reporting and special requests from management.

The Successful Applicant - A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with at least 10 years of accounts receivable experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role within a large law firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes and legal accounting software such as Aderant, Elite, or SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong supervisory skills and experience leading a team.
- Knowledge of local and state sales tax processes is a plus.
