We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Receivable Team Lead in Schiller Park, Illinois. This role is in the finance industry, and you will be working in an office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the process of managing overdue accounts, which includes communicating with customers about outstanding invoices and escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to address escalated dispute calls, make informed decisions, and approve proposed special payment plan arrangements.
• Play a mentoring role for the accounts receivable staff member to act as a backup for the national account credit and collection process.
• Continually assess operating effectiveness to identify and implement improvements in administrative functions and national customer accounts.
• Oversee staff to ensure work accuracy.
• Confirm that daily tasks are completed and up-to-date.
• Provide guidance to team members on complex decisions related to holding and releasing customer orders.
• Address second-level problems related to accounts in the collection process.
• Meet agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
• Train team members on processes and systems as needed.• Must possess proficiency in 3M software
• Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems is required
• Proficiency with ADP - Financial Services is essential
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required
• Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed
• Auditing skills are a must
• Experience in Billing Functions is necessary
• Strong supervisory management skills are required
• Must have experience in Collections
